The Basic Pay Scales of Patwaris and Girdawars would be upgraded and bring at par with that of other parts of the country. This was stated by Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah in a telephonic conversation with APP on Tuesday. He said the pay scales of Patwaris and Girdawars were 9 and 11 respectively in other parts of the country, adding, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan would protect the rights of the aforementioned officials by upgrading their pay scales.
