A woman drowned in a canal near Khan Bela, 35 kilometres from here on Wednesday. Police said Salma Bibi w/o Muhammad Asif was washing clothes on the bank of canal 4-LR when she fell into water and drowned. Police recovered the body from the canal near Balochan bridge.
