Anomaly Committee to resolve pay, pension issues

The government has constituted an anomaly committee-2011 to resolve issues pertaining to revised basic pay scales, allowances and pension of civil emplloyees of federal government. It is learnt here on Thursday that the Finance Division has issued an office memorandum for constitution of the anomaly committee.
According to the office order, an anomaly committee has been constituted in the Finance Division (Regulations Wing) to resolve anomalies in implementation of the Revised Basic Pay Scales, Allowances and Pension, 2011 pertaining to civil employees of Federal Government paid from civil estimates and/or from defence estimates, Armed Forces Personnel and the employees of the Civil Armed Forces (CAF).
According to the composition of the committee, Additional Finance Secretary (Regulations), Finance Division would be chairman of the committee. Members of the committee included Joint Secretary (Regulations), Finance Division; FA (Regulations), Finance Division (Military); Deputy Military Accountant General; Additional Accountant General Pakistan Revenues; an officer of the status of Deputy Secretary from Interior Division dealing with CAF matters; Section Officer (Reg-6), Regulations Wing, Finance Division and Deputy Secretary (R.II), Finance Division, would work as Member/Secretary of the committee.
Finance Division has requested all Ministries/ Divisions/ Departments to identify the bona fide cases of anomalies and refer them, with specific recommendations, to the Member/ Secretary, Anomaly Committee, Finance Division, Islamabad upto September 30, 2011.
