Meteorological Department of Pakistan on Saturday forecast scattered rains with chances of thundershower in Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. Scattered rains and thundershower are expected in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions and Kashmir.
Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan and Hazara divisions are expected to receive isolated rain and thundershower in the next 24 hours. Mainly dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while isolated rain and thundershower may occur in the north-east Punjab and Kashmir, according to Met Office.
During the last 24 hours, scattered rain with thundershower occurred in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir. Weather remained hot and humid elsewhere in the country, it adds. Met office recorded 79mm rain in Islamabad, 46mm Mangla, 45mm in Murree, 43mm in Balakot, 41mm in Sargodha, 38mm in Malamjaba, 32mm in Jhelum, 28mm in Chaklala, 24mm in Saidu Sharif, 22mm in Pattan, 18mm in Muzaffarabad, 15mm in D.I. Khan, and 13mm in Sialkot.
Highest temperature 43 degree centigrade was recorded in Dadu during the last 24 hours. According to Met Office, partly cloudy weather with chances of drizzle is expected during the next 24 hours with temperature ranging between 35 degree centigrade and 37 degree centigrade.
