Managing Director Pepco, Rasool Khan Masood has said unavailability of oil and gas is the main reason for electricity shortfall, which reached 6000MW lately. He was addressing a press conference at the Wapda Auditorium, here on Monday. Masood said the chances of overcoming power shortfall were very much likely if supply of oil and gas to the power generation units was restored.
As far as power supply from Iran was concerned, he said that 3000MW were in the system and 1000MW would be provided by Iran in four years.
