Canadian canola futures rise

ICE Canadian canola futures rose on Wednesday, snapping a three-day losing streak and keeping pace with firm soya futures. Rain across Saskatchewan and Manitoba on Wednesday seen mostly beneficial for canola and may curbed gains, along with stronger Canadian dollar-traders.
November gained $1.80 at $567.30 per tonne on volume of 11,297 contracts. January rose $1.70 at $574.50 on volume of 4,891. November-January spread traded 2,939 times, settling at a January premium of $7.20. Chicago August soyabeans dipped 1 US cent to US $13.78-1/4 per bushel, but deferred months rose. August soyaoil rose 0.08 cent to 56.77 US cents per lb.
