Gurwar and Gur prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in process of trading, dealers said. On cereals side gur inferior type posted fresh gain of Rs 200 to Rs 7000 and best quality was unmoved due to balanced demand and supply position, Khandsari followed the same pattern rising by the same amount at Rs 8200, they said.
On the grams side guwar Sindh gained Rs 700 to Rs 6200-6300 and guwar Punjab was registered at the same rate at Rs 6200-6300 during the day, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type shed Rs 200 to Rs 1280 and good variety was lower by Rs 15 to Rs 1325, they said. Prices were firm on rice sector, they added.
