Two people were killed and three feet portion of railway track was blown up in a bomb blast that took place in Sariab area of the provincial capital on Saturday night. DIG Operation Quetta Hamid Shakeel told media persons that unknown men attached bomb with the railway track and detonated it with remote control. Resultantly, two persons had been killed, he said.
The dead were identified Sher Zaman and Abdul Mutlib. The blast also blew three feet portion of the railway track and as a result the land communication of Quetta was cut off from rest of the country. Police have launched search operation to hunt the suspects down.
