The Chief Executive Officer Al-Abraj Group, major shareholder of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), is likely to arrive here anytime soon from Dubai to resolve the simmering dispute between the utility''s management and workers, sources said.
Earlier on Thursday, Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan sought four days from KESC union to resolve the issue and urged the body to suspend its protest by July 25. Sources said that the governor is showing keen interest in this highly disturbing problem and in this regard he has also made contact with CEO Al-Abraj group Arif Naqvi and requested him to visit Pakistan and play his role towards the resolution of the dispute.
