Emerging markets top the list of regions at threat from inflation, followed by the United States and Europe, a study of European institutional investors showed on Monday. ING Investment Management said it had surveyed 52 large European institutional investors and found 42 percent expecting significant inflation risk in emerging markets.
Some 28 percent said there was significant risk in the United States and 22 percent in Europe. "A surprisingly low 8 percent of those institutional investors interviewed said that there were significant inflation risks in the UK," ING IM said.
