The "Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership" (CEL) would be inaugurated here on August 1 at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) campus.
The programme of CEL has been jointly initiated by Finance Ministry's Business Support Fund (BSF) and SZABIST, aiming at to reduce unemployment from the country, which would ultimately help developing the country's economy, says a press statement issued here on Friday.
The purpose of CEL is to help the unemployed people in the country to start their own business and it would teach the unemployed youth for establishing sustainable business activities. Syed Asad Hussain, Director, SZABIST Islamabad said in the statement that both parties have agreed to extend handholding support to the young entrepreneurs as the leaders of tomorrow through CEL. "Both the organisations recognise that unemployment has posed serious socio-economic challenges to the economic growth and prosperity of the country.
Currently, Pakistan's economy is facing difficult times. It is becoming difficult for young graduates to enter into the job market due to a number of factors. The objective of establishment of CEL is to nurture entrepreneurship and leadership culture in Pakistan," he added.
