Federal Police and other law enforcement agencies held four terrorists after conducting raid in Islamabad and recovered two suicide vests and some important documents from detained terrorists, Police sources said here on Saturday. A terror suspect nabbed by capital police on Friday night informed the investigators about presence of three of accomplices in slum area of the federal capital located within the jurisdiction of Golra Police.
Police and Law Enforcement Agencies jointly conducted raid in the area and held three suspects. Law Enforcers recovered two suicide jackets, six hand grenades, assault rifles and lethal weapons, besides some important documents from detained terrorists, informed sources told this scribe.
The detained suspects were shifted to some un-known place for investigation. The arrested men were planning to hit top officials in the federal capital. Islamabad Police Chief Bani Amin said that a terrorist escaped from the scene, while the owner of the house has been detained for questioning. During the preliminary investigation terror suspects told investigators about their plan to attack sensitive installations in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
