FMTWA announces 50 percent discount on fruits in Ramazan

President of Islamabad Fruit Market Traders Welfare Association (FMTWA) Syed Siraj Agha announced 50 percent discount on various seasonal fruits during the holy month of Ramazan.
Talking to APP on Sunday, he said that apples, grapes, melons, pomegranates and other fruits would be sold on lower rates to customers. He said "if the Capital Development Authority (CDA) provides us a separate place, special stalls will be set up there, otherwise the same will be held at the Fruit Market".
"A stern action will be taken against those found charging high prices of fruits inside or outside the market", he added.
Meanwhile, the Sabzi Mandi traders associations in their meeting with the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, have also assured sufficient and smooth supply of fruits and vegetables during the month of Ramazan.
