Malik flayed for Tableeghi centre comments

01 Aug, 2011

Qari Muhammad Hanif Jhalandari, Secretary General of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia has strongly reacted on the utterance of Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik against the Tableeghi centre of Raiwind. He said that though Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chief of PML-Q has interpreted the sentiments of the entire nation yet reaction on this issue from religious forces is necessary.
Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, he said they will not allow to close religious seminaries in Malakand division or any other part of the country therefore threats to seminaries should be stopped as terrifying and threatening the administrators of religious seminaries is illegal and against the constitution.
He observed that obscenity and vulgarity are being promoted in the country in the name of culture while religious seminaries are being threatened to close down. This behaviour will not be tolerated and the forces that want to damage the Islamic culture in Pakistan will not be allowed to play their game, he added.
