Prime Minister pledges to resolve lawyers problems

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday reiterated government to resolve problems of lawyers. The Prime Minister was talking to a delegation of lawyers comprising High Court Bar Association Multan President Chaudhry Sagheer Ahmad, General Secretary Usman Khosa and former LHC judge and PLF leader Habibullah Shakir, which called on him at the local circuit house here.
The delegation apprised the Prime Minister of their problems, including those being faced by district and tehsil bar associations in South Punjab. They thanked the Prime Minister for allocating funds for bar associations in accordance with the Constitution. The Prime Minister said that funds announced for bars would be released shortly and issued instructions to quarters concerned to resolve lawyers problems.
