Pakistan will participate in Asian Under-20 Rugby Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, starting in first week of next month. A spokesman of Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) confirmed that Asian Rugby Football Union (ARFU) had invited Pakistan U-20 team to chip in the tournament where hosts Uzbekistan, Singapore and Kazakhstan will feature as well.
It is the third time that a junior team from Pakistan will compete in an international event. Previously, it participated in U-20 tournament in Philippines in 2009 besides taking part in the U-19 Asian Championship that held in Lahore a couple of years ago.
