Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) has announced the merit list of successful applicants for admission in various medical specialisations for the academic session 2011-12. The merit list can be watched on the institute's website www.pgmipunjab.edu.pk.
Principal PGMI Professor Dr. Tariq Salahudin while talking to the media told in this regard that for the first time admission at PGMI has been processed through entry test. He said that merit and transparency have been ensured during every phase of admission process right from issuance of forms to interviews in order to choose deserving candidates. He stressed the successful candidates to focus on their studies and research so that better health facilities could be provided to common man.
Prof. Tariq Salahudin said that PGMI is playing laudable role in the health sector, in fact this institute is performing as the custodian of under graduate medical colleges. The able faculty members and academia of PGMI are according to international standards, he added.
