Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain hailed the successful negotiations and dialogues between Governor Sindh and the PPP government. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he welcomed the decisions taken during the negotiations and termed the dialogues as a good omen for the country particularly the people of Sindh.
He said that the decisions taken would prove to be a milestone for strengthening democracy in the country. Altaf Hussain thanked President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for taking steps for promoting the policy of reconciliation. He also thanked Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad, former Federal Law Minister Babar Awan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah for their efforts.
