Fazal says PPP neither sincere nor intends to create new provinces

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has categorically said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) is neither sincere in making news provinces not it has such intentions. Talking to reporters outside parliament on Thursday, he said that in these circumstances when the country was passing through a critical juncture, formation of new provinces was not possible.
The existing four provinces, he added, are hardly running their respective affairs autonomously. "How is it possible to create more provinces," he questioned. The JUI-F chief further said that due to financial problems faced by the country, new provinces could not be created, at least at this difficult time. "The PPP government is taking to get credit only and want to blackmail other political parties by using the slogan of new provinces," he maintained.
Rejecting the possibility of rejoining the government, Fazal said that JUI-F was being punished for parting ways with the government and native constituencies are neglected during the development projects. He further said that it was the decision of central working committee of his party to part ways with government and final decision, adding that he just went to see the president regarding the masses problems faced by people.
