29 outlaws including 15 beggars held

One killed in road mishap while Capital Police recovered 5.12kg heroin, 2.74kg charas, three guns (12-bore) and three pistols during last 24 hours and held 29 persons including 15 beggars. A fast driven Hiace wagon smashed a taxi near Chatter Park in the jurisdiction of Bhara Kahu Police Station resulting death of a taxi driver.
A fast driven Hiace bearing registration No RIR-9386 hit a taxi car No LI 7535 near Chatter Park. Taxi driver namely Abdul Hakeem died on the spot, while Hiace driver Shakeel Satti managed to escape from the scene, police sources said. They said that a case was registered against Shakeel Satti and efforts are being made to arrest him while Hiace was impounded by Bhara Kahu Police.
Golra Police stopped a person namely Badiuz Zaman at Chungi No 26 and on search police recovered 5.12-kilogram heroin from the possession of the drug pusher. A case was registered against him under Narcotics Act. Wife of Hassan Akhtar R/o Chatter informed Bhara Kahu Police about the illegal arms in possession of her husband. Police raided the house and recovered a pistol (30-bore) and three bullets from him. A person Habib Shakoor surrendered before the Bhara Kahu Police and handed over his pistol (30-bore) and three bullets to police. Habib informed the police that he was about to commit suicide by this pistol and later decided to surrender.
Tarnol Police stopped a person namely Siddiq at police Check point at Jhangi Syedan and on search one pistol (30-bore) and four bullets were recovered from him. Industrial Area Police during routine patrolling stopped a person Waseem Anjum in I-9/3 and on checking police recovered one gun (12-bore) and five cartridges from him.
Shahzad Town Police during routine patrolling stopped a person Ehsanullah Kurri Road area and during checking police recovered one gun (12-bore) and 36 cartridges from him. During investigation a detained outlaw namely Habib informed the Koral Police about presence of one gun (12-bore) and police recovered the gun.
Sabzi Mandi Police in response to a tipoff raided a house Gandum Godam area and recovered 1.5 kg charas from Muhammad Naeem, Golra Police recovered 500 gram charas from accused Subhan, Shahzad town Police recovered 600 gram charas from Khalid, Women Police recovered 140 gram charas from Saad Ali.
Islamabad Police continued its efforts against the beggars and arrested 15 beggars from different places. Margalla Police during its drive against beggars held ten beggars including four women Mumtaz Bibi, Rehmat Bibi, Nazeran, Tanzela and six male namely Imran Abbas, Mulazim Hussain, Muhammad Sabir, Muhammad Nawaz, Faqeer Muhammad and Nadeem. The detained persons were begging in F-8.
