Isolated heavy rain, thundershower expected in country

The met office on Friday forecast widespread rain and thundershower with isolated heavy fall in most part of the country for the next 24 hours. The fresh forecast says widespread rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls expected in Islamabad, Punjab and Kashmir while scattered rain and thundershower in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, north-eastern Balochistan, Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan.
It also predicts scattered rain and thundershower in Sindh, Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. Under the severe weather warning, met office says isolated heavy fall is expected in Punjab and Kashmir during the next 24-36 hours.
Rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls occurred in Sindh and upper Punjab while scattered rain with thundershower occurred in Peshawar, Kohat, Hazara, Malakand divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the last 24 hours, it adds. Chief amount of rain recorded as in Lahore 84mm, Chhor 106mm, Hyderabad 97mm, Mithi 69mm, Sialkot 65mm, Thatta 60mm, Mirpurkhas 52mm, Balakot 37mm, Dir 28mm, Murree 27mm, Islamabad (Saidpur) 36mm, Dir 28mm, Islamabad (Zeropoint) 27mm, Mangla 22mm, M.B.Din 17mm, Kotli 16mm, Rawalakot and Karachi (Landhi) 14mm, Islamabad (Bokra) 13mm, Rawalpindi (Shamsabad) 12mm, Karachi (Airport 10mm, Karachi (Nazimabad) and Karachi (Faisal) 8mm, Nawabshah and Jehlum 5mm during the last 24 hours. Met office has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thundershower during the next 24 hours in Karachi with temperature ranging between 29 degree centigrade and 31 degree centigrade.
