ASO seizes smuggling goods

The attempt of smuggling goods of millions of rupees was foiled by Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO) Lahore. According to spokesmen, ASO staff under the supervision of Assistant collector Toqueer Dar and Superintendent Abdul Hameed Bhatti seized 6 smuggled vehicles of rupees 5.6 million.
Meanwhile some other goods were also taken in to custody including 1725 kilograms of artificial leather worth Rs 0.6 million, 7020 meter imported Cloth during a bit to smuggle it from Peshawar to Lahore of rupees 0.7 million. During another bid, 800 litters of imported mobil oil was captured by the ASO worth Rs 200,000, while it was being smuggled from Quetta to Lahore.
