The two megawatt power project will start functioning from August 20, this year, benefiting more than 20,000 people of the area. This was stated by Water & Power Executive Engineer Fayyaz Alam while talking to newsmen on Friday. He said the project would cost at Rs 20.6 million and would help reducing load-shedding from the district.
He said currently electricity was being provided to the masses of the district through Pareshing, Gudai, Rattu, Doyan and Cheluma powerhouses.
