No clues on abducted US development expert

Police said on Sunday they were investigating the abduction of a US development expert from Lahore. Warren Weinstein, 63, was kidnapped on Saturday when a dozen assailants overpowered his guards and servants at gunpoint as they were having their pre-dawn meal before starting their Ramadan fast.
"We have questioned some people but we have no lead at the moment," said senior police investigator Abdul Razzaq Cheema. "It appears to be a well planned raid at the house."
No one has claimed responsibility for the abduction of Weinstein, who worked for Virginia-based consulting firm, JE Austin & Associates, which runs development projects for USAID in Pakistan's tribal region.
