Government trying to install dictatorship in guise of democracy: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that the present state the country was heartbreaking, as the incumbent government was trying to install a dictatorship under the guise of democracy. He was addressing a function held in connection with the Independence Day celebrations at Hazuri Bagh.
Nawaz Sharif said that the PPP-led government had given the people of Pakistan nothing but humiliation and implementing policies of the former dictator.
He said that after a great deal of hardships and sacrifices by the people, democracy had returned to Pakistan, but the present government was trying to install a dictatorship under the guise of democracy.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif pledged to combat and tackle corruption and injustice in the country and urged the people to put their faith in the constitution and the rule of law.
He also vowed to safeguard the ideology and vision of Pakistan as outlined by the father of the Nation Qauid-e-Azam and the national poet -Allama Iqbal during the historic Pakistan movement.
