Change of guard at Mazar-e-Quaid

The ceremony for change of guard was held at Mazar-e-Quaid on morning of Independence Day on Sunday. The change of guard started at 8 in the morning. The cadets of Pakistan Navy assumed the guard duties at the mausoleum of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, on 65th Independence Day of the country.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah collectively hoisted the national flag on this occasion. They also laid a floral wreath and offered fateha at the Mazar-e-Quaid. While talking to the media, the chief minister greeted the nation and vowed to make Karachi, the city of Quaid, peaceful and non-violent. He also stressed all the political parties to play their role in this regard.
