An exhibition of rare photographs of Founder of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Pakistan Movement Leaders is continuing here at Aiwan-i-Quaid till August 16 in connection with Independence Day celebrations.
The event has been jointly organised by Nazriya Pakistan Council (Trust) and Directorate of Films and Publications to mark the 65th Independence Day to remember the sacrifices of forefathers for the cause of freedom and realising the goals of creation of Pakistan.
The exhibition portrays black and white photographs carrying a panorama of events before and after the independence and some rare glimpses of the events from the life of Father of the Nation and his associates. The illustrations also included the activities of the Freedom Movement and photos of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah with an emphasis of the struggle of women who played an important role in the freedom movement.
In a few photos, Quaid-i-Azam and his associates have been shown in many important meetings, which later turned out to be defining moments for country's freedom in 1947.
