The Lahore High Court (LHC) adjourned hearing and sought reply from the respondents till August 24 in a corruption case of National Fertiliser Corporation (NFC). The petitioner Ahmed Ali Ranjha contended that the NFC officials were involved in black marketing the fertilisers and made a huge amount in worth of billion of rupees.
They also disturbed the distributors and did not deliver them their supply properly. He said Chairman NFC an eighty-year-old person had allowed license to a number of persons who were black listed in past. He, therefore, prayed to the court to declare the appointment of the respondent Chairman NFC as illegally. The court after hearing the petitioner counsel at length issued notices to the respondent and called for reply.
