FBISE announces HSSC-I result

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Friday announced the result of annual examination of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC-I) with a passing percentage of 52.52. According to the notification issued by the FBISE, 20 unfair means cases were reported, which were decided after adopting judicious process.
According to the result, a total of 44278 candidates comprising regular and private candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 23254 were declared pass. A total of 41929 regular students appeared in the examination out of which 22807 were declared successful with the passing percentage 54.39.
In Humanities group, a total of 7829 regular students appeared in the examination out of which 4084 were declared pass with a percentage of 52.17. Similarly, 2349 private/ex-students appeared in the examination and 447 students were declared pass with a passing percentage of 19.03, whereas, in Humanities 1640 private candidates appeared in the examination of which 354 were declared passed with a percentage of 21.59.
