Euro-priced gold struck an all-time high of 1,296.31 euros an ounce on Friday, as growing fears of a worsening US economic outlook and eurozone debt crisis drove investors to safe haven assets such a gold. Spot gold rose more than 1 percent to a record high above $1,850 an ounce.
