The Army is ready to do everything possible to restore peace in Karachi, a private TV channel reported. According to Army Chief General Pervaiz Kayani, a decision in this respect, however, has to be taken by the government. Only then will the army play its role towards bringing normality in Karachi, he added.
According to the channel, the army chief said the paramilitary and other law enforcement agencies have been working in Karachi to deal with law and order situation quite satisfactorily.
