Trading activity at the futures counter remained thin and the average daily volume at the futures counter declined by 43 percent to 2.96 million shares as compared to previous week''s 5.19 million shares. The value of daily trade at the futures counter declined by 43.7 percent to Rs 376.60 million during the week as compared to previous week''s Rs 668.93 million.
The ready futures spread, however, increased by 893bps to 11.45 percent from previous week''s 2.52 percent.
