The Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry (BQATI) managing committee has been elected unopposed, while the election for the office-bearers would be held on August 24, 2011. There were six vacant seats for members of the managing committee and the committee received six valid nominations after scrutiny of papers and validity of nominations.
The elected members included Usman Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salim Dada, Muhammed Ali Haider, Col Asadullah Chughtai (Retd) and Amin Ali Dawood. Farhan Zafar, Farhan Ansari, Abrar Hasan and Abdul Rasheed Jan Mohammed would continue to serve in the committee.
The elections of the office-bearers for the year 2011/12 will be held as per the schedule on Wednesday, August 24.-PR
