Plea to take a judge from minorities in Supreme Court rejected

25 Aug, 2011

An application filed to take a judge from minorities to fill the vacant post in SC has been rejected by the court on Wednesday. Registrar SC rejected the application on the ground that applicant has no locus standi, adding that SC was not the proper forum to take up the issue.
