Federal Minister for Environment and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Lahore Chapter President Samina Khalid Ghurki said demand for military operation in Karachi is not appropriate. Talking to a private news channel on Wednesday, she said that all the stakeholders should sit together to find a solution to the prevailing situation in the largest city of the country.
Samina Ghurki said Pakistan Army was already fighting against militants in the western parts of the country and played a remarkable role in curbing militancy but as far as the situation of Karachi was concerned, it was not the right choice to engage Army there.
She said such experiments had also been made in past but they did not bring forth desired results. She said a better option to solve this problem was that all major parties should feel their responsibilities and find out a proper solution.
