We need middle class leadership to end feudal system: Farooq

Central Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar has said that if there is no peaceful change through ballot then Egypt and Syria like situation will arise in Pakistan. He said that strict action would be taken against miscreants irrespective of their party affiliation in Karachi. He said that we need middle class leadership to end feudalism system in the country.
He was addressing the award ceremony to honour Lieutenant Yasir Shaheed organised by Bright Future Society on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion Farooq Sattar said that country need people like Lieutenant Yasir Abbas Shaheed to fight against the internal and external enemies of the country. He said that Pakistan's debt was increasing at the rate of 10 percent, while the growth rate is only two percent.
He said that we would make Pakistan Jinnah's Pakistan only when we will empower the middle class of the country. He said that future of Pakistan lies in the hands of young people and we should empower the young people. He said that Karachi is the city of 98 percent middle class people and two percent privilege class is trying to create differences between them.
He said Karachi is Pakistan and Pakistan is Karachi adding that if there is peace in Karachi then there will be peace in the whole country. He also said that from 2002 to 2007 law and order situation was not so pathetic. He said that we would restore peace in Karachi by creating harmony among Baloch, Sindhi, Paktoons and Urdu speaking people. He also said that marinating law and order in the city is the responsibility of the government.
