Friday to be observed as 'Youm-ul-Quds'

President of Shia Ulema Council Punjab, Allama Abud Jalil Naqvi said that Friday would be observed as Youm-ul-Quds across the country to show solidarity with the suffering people of Palestine. He said Baitul Muqaddas (Kibla-e-Awal) is a common heritage of all Muslims of the world and expressed concern over Israeli atrocities on Palestine.
Jalil said in all Masajid Ulema in their sermons of Jumma prayer would raise the issue being faced by the Palestine and increasing atrocities of Israelis on Muslims. In this regard a rally would be taken out from the Masjid Asna Ashri G-6/2 to Abbpara Chowk to condemn the barbarism of Israel and its supporters. He also appealed to the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to come up with solid policy regarding safeguarding innocent Palestinian from the inhumanity of Israel.
