A veteran trade unionist, 'Chacha' Maula Bux Khaskheli, died in Sukkur on Friday, and was laid to rest in a graveyard in Rohri, according to a statement of All Pakistan Trade Unions Organisation (APTUO) here on Saturday. It said that the deceased was founder-president of the APTUO. Late Maula Bux was born in Rohri in 1935, and started taking part in trade union activities at a young age.
In collaboration with a trade union leader, late S P Lodhi, he laid the foundation of the APTUO, and was elected as its first central president.
