Accord signed: NCR, NBP to install 150 ATMs nationwide

NCR Corporation and National Bank of Pakistan together Friday announced during a contract signing ceremony to install 150 ATMs nation-wide in the branches of NBP. With this expansion, NBP will further strengthen its ATM network across the country and will have more than 500 branches to facilitate its customers in this regard.
With the increasing demands of customers for having alternate delivery channels, the management of National Bank of Pakistan decided to increase ATMs within its branch network along-with other value added services to the customers. Till date, ATM is the most preferred channel by customer globally for their transaction needs including cash dispensing & deposit, funds transfer, bill payments, balance enquiry etc.
NBP has embarked upon technology up-gradation and modernisation with implementation of the Centralised Core Banking, Branch Connectivity to bring 1,100 branches online as well contact centre for giving its customers the most modern banking services in addition to the ATM expansion programme.
The NCR was selected as the trusted vendor for providing these 150 ATMs, which includes lobby style as well as through the wall ATMs. NCR ATMs are designed with state-of-art technology and are fully compliant to the latest international security requirements. NCR will be providing these ATMs from its latest NCR SelfServ series, which offers the highest quality, most fulfilling self-service customer experience.
