PML-N's candidate Ch. Haider Sultan Ali received 75,655 votes while Raja Tariq Afzal Kalaas PTI’s candidate got 45,702 votes to stay runner-up from the 227 polling stations.

Total 814 polling booths including 421 for male and 393 for female voters were set up in the constituency.

Ch. Nisar Abbas Minhas, a candidate of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah stood third according to the provisional results.

There were total 279,530 voters. Election Commission of Pakistan had deputed 227 presiding officers and 814 assistant presiding officers.

Ranagers were deployed inside and outside the polling stations however five polling stations were declared highly sensitive and 45 others as sensitive. Foolproof security arrangements were made to avoid any untoward incident and to make the election transparent.

Quick Response Force was standby to meet any situation. The polling started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any break in a peaceful atmosphere as no clash was reported in any part of the constituency.

The compilation of polling results in the NA-120 by-elections started right after voting ended on Tuesday evening at 5 pm for the provincial assembly seat which was left vacant due to death of Chaudhary Muhammad Liaquat, a Punjab Assembly member, who had passed away last month.
