The SHC bench was hearing a criminal miscellanies application filed by Pechuho who was currently been tried in Anti-Corruption Court on the compliant of a suspended high school Principal Muhammad Mithal.
The schoolteacher had alleged that former secretary had demanded bribe in order to reinstate him.
The Anti-Corruption Court had issued Non Bail-able warrant for the arrest of Pechuho.
Suspending the NBW, the SHC directed Zardari’s brother-in-law to appear before the trial court and cooperate with the investigators.
According to the complainant, he was suspended twice illegally and the education department’s employees— Section Officer Abdul Jabbar and Junior Clerk Iftikhar Hussain— backed by the then secretary had refused to reinstate him when he refused their bribe demand of Rs. 200,000.
However, on the other hand, Pechuho had denied the allegation, terming the same as baseless and meant for tarnishing his image.
