The Lahore High Court on Friday replaced a local commission on charges of misconduct objected by a respondent MPA of PML-N. The counsel for PML-N MPA Haji Imran Zafar alleged that local commission Faisal Mufti not only misbehaved with his client MPA by saying him idiot but also corroborate witnesses recorded by him.
After hearing the arguments, the judge removed Mufti and appointed Ghulam Sabir Kaifi as local commission to proceed with the case. Imran Masood challenging election of Haji Imran Zafar alleged that Haji rigged the election by managing the cast of bogus votes. He prayed to the court for re-election of the constituency.
