Three killed in separate incidents

At least two persons including a eunuch were killed in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to police, a eunuch was shot dead when he offered resistance over a robbery bid near Abdullah College in the limits of North Nazimabad police station.
The second incident took place at Block-C North Nazimabad near Abdullah College where Raju alias Talha, 22 son of Faqir Mohammad was intercepted by two bandits when he was buying cigarettes from pan shop. He offered resistance when the bandits tried to snatch his cell phone. The bandit pulled out his weapon and fired at Raju. He received fatal bullet wounds and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico legal formalities and later his body was handed over to his heirs. No case was registered till filing of this report.
An elderly man was crushed to death at Natha Khan Railway Crossing in the limits of Drigh road Railway police station. The Hazara Express knocked Nazeer Khan, 70, a resident of Jhangir Road, when he was crossing the railway track. He died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
