PDMA dispatches 100 truckloads for flood victims

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Saturday dispatched 100 truckloads of daily-use items for flood affected of Sindh. Addressing a meeting here on Saturday, PDMA Director General Khalid Sherdil said that PDMA had so far sent 761 truckloads of relief goods at a cost of Rs 520.23 million.
He said items were collected from donations from people of Punjab and dispatched from various districts. The DG told the meeting that all items had been distributed among affected of Sindh and the PDMA was focusing on sending warm clothes to flood-hit areas.
