A resident of district Gujrat, Punjab, Mohammad Rafiq has sought action against his opponents who allegedly forcibly purchased his property on lesser rates and now intimidating through various tactics. Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday, he said that he went to Italy some time ago, adding that he owned a house and three shops in district Gujrat.
The property was forcibly taken from his relatives for rupees' Rs 15 lakh (1.5 million). He claimed that the property's actual amount was Rs 2.5 billion. Mohammad Rafiq said that the sister in law, niece, and income tax commissioner, Sheikh Ayesha Hussain are intimidating and teasing him through various tactics despite forcibly taking his property for a tiny amount. He alleged that the opponents are now eyeing his remaining petty bank balance and trying to snatch it. He said wherever he travels his opponents 'sponsored gangsters' follow.
