Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) demands Sindh government to take ABAD on board in a campaign against land grabbers. This was stated by the delegation of ABAD led by Mohsin Sheikhani, Chairman MAD, Regional Chairman Southern Region M. Saleem Kassim Patel Dr Talha Farooqi, Raees Ahmed, Mohammad Arif Jeeva, Nusrat Mirza and Junaid Taloo during a meeting with Sherafuddin Memon, Advisor to Sindh government for Law and Order at his office on the other day.
The delegation particularity emphasised the incidents of land grabbing and encroachments and demanded that the campaign against the lard grabbers be carried out with association of Rangers and ABAD be taken on board with the campaign. The delegation demanded that the campaign should be conducted with the participation of ABAD. The need to make the campaign broad based and extending it to both public and private properties.
The delegation reiterated that Extortionists and Grabber have again become active and referred to the recent eases reported to the government this week. In recent incidents Members' offices were ransacked and looted to repeat the threats for extortion of money. The delegation demanded issuance of arms licenses for protection of their life arid property.-PR
