A citizen has approached the Lahore High Court against holding of the rallies by the PML(N) and PTI. The petitioner Rana Azeem contended that both the said political parties are after boosting up the political business at the cost of the rights and facilities of the masses.
The petitioner contended that PML(N), PPP and the PTI have affixed bill boards, banners, advertisement screens and placards on the Mall worth lakhs of rupees but without paying to the authorities and obtaining prior permission from the PHA. He, therefore, prayed to the court to issue a restrictive order against holding of the rallies.
