Kangana Ranaut once again surprised everyone when she decided to make an appearance on Karan Johar’s upcoming TV show ‘India’s Next Superstar’. Earlier, both came in limelight over the famous nepotism debate, where Kangana labelled the filmmaker as a flag bearer of nepotism and a movie mafia.
This time again, Kangana did manage to take a friendly dig at KJo again. In the game, ‘How well do you know each other’, Kangana was asked what Karan offers to guests on his talk-show. To which Kangana said, “Zeher pilata hai mujhse puchho (Karan serves poison to his guests, ask me)”. Everyone in the audience was shocked to hear this, but the filmmaker as usual laughed it off, Indian media reported.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kangana maintained that her being on the show is a professional commitment and said, “What is delightful is that Karan is okay with doing the show with me and seems to be slowly warming up to me.”
The cold war started between the two last year on Karan's talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’, where the nepotism debate started on a lighter note but later took a serious turn. Karan hit back at Kangana about playing the victim card, to which Kangana responded with a long open letter.
In the meantime, Karan and Rohit Shetty are judging India’s Next Superstars, a talent show from where the filmmakers will pick a contestant for their next mega film.
