Four injured in student groups' clash

At least four students sustained injuries when two student organisations clashed at Abdul Haq Campus of Urdu Collage in the limits of Eidgah police station on Saturday. According to details, all classes in the college were suspended when the workers of People's Students Federation (PSF) and Islami Jamiat Tulba (IJT) charged each other with batons, rods and other lethal tools, leaving four students injured.
The clash, which was started between collage students at B.Com department of the campus, engaged both organisations. Representative of PSF South Javed Baloch claimed that the clash was flared up by the IJT workers that left three workers of PSF including Imtiaz Jadoon, Wahid and Kamal Gilgiti injured. However, Zubair, a senior worker of IJT termed it as minor incident. He said that one Nawaz, who belonged to IJT, sustained injuries in this clash. Meanwhile, SHO Eidgah Rao Rafique said that they also received such reports but did not find anything unusual when they reached to the spot. Therefore, no case was registered in this regard.
