Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Marghoob Ahmad on Saturday said after PML-N's successful rally against PPP-led government, people were waiting for the call of a long march. Addressing a reception given in honour of organisers of the rally he said that now this long march would not return from Gujranwala but it would conclude at Islamabad.
Ahmad said that participation of a large number of people in Friday's rally had proved that people did not want PPP government to rule anymore. "People would never accept the PPP government which has compromised on national interests by introducing so-called reconciliation with "tanga parties" to gain their vested interests for the sake of power," he said.
